MightyText could be a cool integration either to Gmail or as a notification-based "Account" on the left side. I switched from iPhone to Android and not having iMessage is killing me. MightyText is doing the trick, but I don't prefer having it in a Chrome extension.

My XPS15's touchpad and Chrome hate eachother. Chromium Wheel Smooth Scroller offers much needed solace. Would love to have this in wavebox too, as the scrolling is pretty janky now (not wavebox's fault).

Hi @Thomas101 , I just finished updating to v3.3.4. I enabled Boomerang and restarted Wavebox a couple times, but I do not see Boomerang enabled. That is, I see the Boomerang icon in the top right corner, but there's no trace of the usual enhancements that Boomerang brings to the gmail interface.
What am I doing wrong?

p.s. I have two gmail accounts configured in Wavebox, but the second one is used seldomly. A few minutes ago I accessed the second account and, to my surprise, I saw a welcome screen by Boomerang! So the problem is apparently only on my primary account, while the other one works correctly.

I have two GMail accounts configured: one with a standard domain (gmail.com) and one with a custom domain. The one with the custom domain is working, while the standard one is not.

I totally understand wanting to be cautious about extension support, but having to wait for certain extensions to go through this process is painful. IMO, having support for something like Lastpass for password management should be a high priority. But that being said, my priorities don't necessarily align with others. Will there ever be a way to allow any extension be added "at my own risk"?

I really think that the highest support should be a language extension such
as grammarly or google translate. For email, I need to write professional
emails, and grammarly is my life saver. I almost don't want to use wavebox
for certain emails because of this.

@animally we're working towards 100% coverage of the extension API, but until we reach that we find we need to test each one individually to ensure it works. We're using the list here to prioritize which ones we do first and LastPass is one we'll be working on shortly.

@rawkode there's still some work to do here. We are super busy working on it though!

The upcoming 3.10.4beta has a new underpinning engine which matches that of what chrome does much more closely. Up to now, we've had to put workarounds and patches in to make some extensions work, but now these are no longer needed and we're seeing a load of outstanding extension bugs fixed whilst we've been testing. Once this gets released we think we can add a batch of extensions that didn't work previously.

After that the next major chunk that we've got on the board is adding popout support which quite a few extensions use. It's still work in progress, but we're getting there!

They have a powerup in Trello, but it's far less useful as it doesn't have the side-by-side view which kind of ruins it.

Ive not needed a new extension for a while but am just reviewing the "Sortd" extension at the moment and my first thought was "Check if its supported with Wavebox" and noticed its on the list but not done and not many extensions seem to be in the "supported" list at the moment and I wondered if i'f missed some instruction that allows a variety of other extensions to work straight off?

Not sure if this is the right thread, but is there a way to add a chrome extension like 1Password to the embedded web page options? I use gitlab, Amazon web services with 2FA and it's really convenient to access the password and then the 2FA code in web browsers, but they don't remember my multiple accounts properly. Wavebox lets me have a tab for each ... and it seems possible that we could integrate chrome extensions to these tabs but I don't see a way to do it.

I need to plus up WiseStamp.com plugin...I'm hurting for it. I use Wavebox Pro for everything...Linux/Windows platforms to get things done...but not being able to brand my emails (and my employees) with proper signature is the hardest as a small business and the management of multiple personal/business email accounts. I have to keep using Thunderbird or straight browser to have it function properly. No complaints though...you guys are doing a great job of developing it...just have to be patient.

I was thinking more about emails that have those really ugly ads inline like powerinbox ads, which usually feature grotesque imagery for shock value. stuff I'd never be interested in clicking on, not the promoted content on google. Either way, I used @reatlat's tip and used the following custom css to hide it:

I'm really missing the KeePassHttp-Connector extension. I'm using Google auth to sign in to many accounts and I have to sign in to Google every time I add a new account since sessions/cookies are not shared between accounts.

Or maybe also/instead the extension KeePassXC-Browser, since the _KeePassHttp-Connector_ has been deprecated.

I have already added majority of accounts I wanted, so I'll need this extension much less than initially, but still would be great to have it. At least for others :)

There is a problem with the extension 'Simplify', the search box is hidden, update the code with the source in repository solve this issue. In meanwhile you can use '/' key for call the search box.
