Tasks: Request for click on widget (except tick boxes) launches app

Created on 16 Dec 2019  路  4Comments  路  Source: tasks/tasks

gtasks does this already, but it would be amazing if you could implement a feature (optional if you deem necessary) to launch the app if you click on the widget.

Obviously if you click on a tick box it would complete that task, but clicking anywhere else should launch the app. What do you think?

Thanks for your excellent work on this.

When you create a new Tasks widget ensure that 'Show Header' is checked. You can then click on the widget's header to open the app. Clicking on any part of a task other than the checkbox should also open that specific task in the app.

Thanks, I'd totally missed that. This app is starting to look very appealing. :-D
I'll just put a couple of other requests in and see what you think.

Clicking on empty space below a task list can launch the app now as well

Awesome, thanks.
