Bug description

I'm not able to move the scrollbar of the conversation by drag & drop. Just the scroll wheel is working. This problem doesn't exist for the scrollbar of the contacts.

This bug doesn't occur on Ubuntu 15.10 and Chromium.

@McLoo you're using Windows, no? Can you reproduce this?

Can reproduce in a win10 vm! Hurray!

I find that if I click precisely on the left edge of the scroll-bar I can consistently grab and move it, but clicking any closer to the edge of the window is ineffective.

Similarly, if I adjust the styling so the trackbar is offset about 10px from the window's edge, it behaves normally.

In fact, it almost seems like there are 10-pixel dead zones at both edges of the window, where click events won't fire even though your cursor is inside the window, though it's hard for me to tell for sure because of the usual mouse lag that comes with using a remote vm.

I'm using win 7 and I can click and drag the scroll bar in a conversation on 0.5.1, although it does more of a scrolling action when I do it but very fast.

@agrajaghh
Sorry for :bee:ing late :)
Scrolling works perfectly fine on both scroll bars. By wheeling or dragging.
Is your Windows 10 a VM that might behave odd?

0.6.0
Windows 10 7 (mixed up the systems)
Chrome 49

OK. Next try:
Behavior is totally reproducible on Windows 10:
No dragging of the convo scroll bar!

Can anyone confirm this was introduced in 0.5.0?

This dead zone reproduces with other chrome apps on windows 10 as well. With the native windows scrollbar on the right edge of an app window, only the left half of it seems to be draggable (though browser window scrollbars work perfectly).

Thank you! I'm still not sure how I can fix that.

Same here. Using win 10 on a surface and the scroll bar is barely clickable. Particularly if there's a long history and there's not much real estate to work with to start. Appears to be not all pixels of the scroll bar are active. Would also be nice if the scroll keys (up/down arrow or PgUp/PgDn) would work for those of us using trackpads w/o a mouse with a scroll wheel. Thank you.

I just tested this on Windows 10 with 1.0.39, and the scrollbar is easily clickable for me. Am I missing something?

I think this was on the chrome app

Okay, closing then.
