@mmtr do you know if there's any team's backlog where this could be added?

Maybe https://github.com/orgs/Automattic/projects/34? The Edit Focus Support Squad is including issues from that board in our sprints.

@mmtr Thanks! Do you know if other .com block bugs should go to that backlog as well?

@simison that backlog is for any bugs involving our WordPress.com block editor integration, so any bug that a) is not a core Gutenberg bug, but that b) happens under wordpress.com/block-editor or WP.com wp-admin (including Atomic) is ๐Ÿ‘ . While we try to triage regularly, and fix what we can, these bugs are not the squad's top priority, so progress may be inconsistent ๐Ÿ™ƒ

That's fine, just having a backlog to put these would mean there's _some_ hope for these bugs! ๐Ÿ˜ Thanks!

Haha, ufff, there are 168 Gutenberg integration related issues open currently https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/labels/Gutenberg โ€” ready? ;-)

Upload a video inside the Text & Media block.

I see that Jetpack's Video feature is not currently enabled on your test site, so the video you've uploaded used the core video player, and not the one provided by Jetpack.

Could you try to enable the feature, upload a video to your site via Media > Library, and then insert that video into a new post using the same block you used earlier?

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks for taking a look at this @jeherve. Here you can see two examples with Jetpack enabled.

Both sites have Jetpack enable, but the videos inside the Text & Media block don't load with Jetpack's video player.

Thanks, that helps!

To fix this we should make sure the Media&Text block insert the VideoPress player rather than the default HTML5 video player of the video block.
