Franz: Franz not detecting webcam or mic on Mac

I have a paid professional license of Franz and no way to contact support. Hopefully, here I can get help.

I'm using a Macbook Pro 2019 16 inches max out. I have the latest version of Franz installed and I can't get any service that requires my webcam or mic to work.

On Skype or Microsoft Teams doesn't detect which mic or webcam I have. I presume is because Franz never requested permissions to use those resources.

I there any config that I need to do?

Same issue here on mac. I have the problem with skype and teams aswell. I tried the "I have problems with audio in Skype. What can I do?" approach as mentioned on the support website - it is still not working.

This is happening to me as well, I used to be able to use camera and mic in previous versions but now I am not able to do so, is there any news about this?

Same issue here on Mac. Mic on zendesk calls not works.

Same here. Slack calls detect the webcam but cannot use the microphone.

I believe mhauens is right. There's not even an entry in System Preferences for permissions for Franz. I have it listed under Microphone (in the Security and Privacy section) but nothing for video.

There is a community edition called Ferdi. It's a fork of this project but is actively maintained and works amazingly. Give it a go: https://github.com/getferdi/

Unfortunatetly Franz does not seem to be developed actively. There is no support contact for paying customers. It seems that someone is maintaining it since they are offering discounts from time to time.

The mic and video problem is solved with the community edition (v5.4.3).

I would like to support Franz but not sure if it is maintained anymore,

Unfortunatetly I do not have Microsoft Teams. But I know that it has(?)/had some issues in the last days.

It worked for me (Skype, Hangouts etc). Ferdi asked for permissions using the mic and cam

Same issue here with Whatsapp.. is very sad to see not support at this incredible project.
Hope i don't paid yet but i think i won't do the upgrade plan..

Same issues here on MacOS Catalina. Teams has no audio/microphone and I can't do screen sharing on Slack. I'm canceling my paid professional subscription since there is not even a contact to use in these cases. It's a shame.
