Tasks: [Feature request] Tap notification to go to Edit directly

Created on 16 Nov 2017  路  4Comments  路  Source: tasks/tasks

"Snooze" and "Complete" are already available as in-line actions in notifications. So when a tap shows a menu with "Edit", "Complete", "Snooze" it is actually an extra, unneeded step.
I would prefer to open task Edit directly when tapping on notification. At least when in-line actions are available (Android 4.1+)

Would it be possible to add "Edit" as the third in-line action?
I don't use "Snooze" and would prefer quicker access to "Edit".

P.S. If "Snooze" could be integrated into the "Edit" screen then popup menu on notification tap would not be needed anymore.

I made this change recently and reverted it after I got a bunch of complaints. If you have several notifications you can only expand the first few with the single finger swipe, the rest require a two-finger gesture which is difficult to perform with one hand. If I made this change again I would have to make it a configuration option

And I suppose you cannot have different tap actions for expanded and collapsed state?
So that when in-line "Complete" and "Snooze" are visible a tap would go to "Edit" directly.

I think it would be confusing to most users if the tap on the notification does different things
