Hi, first of all thank you for your great app!
I would like to discuss whether a one-time purchase isn't bringing enough money, other then paying for things like sync over a subscription? Thank you for your answer! :)
For me I would definitely pay one time but not a subscription.
a good example imo is davx5 in the playstore. which costs 4€ which is a good price for such a good app, imo. So you could do that, too?

Perpetual licenses are a great way to pay for work that has been done, but that pricing model doesn't work for mobile apps, which have to provide lifetime e-mail support and upgrades. My Play Store purchase history is filled with one-time purchases that haven't been updated in years, some of which won't even launch anymore.
If I'm being honest, subscriptions don't bring in any money either. One might question my sanity for spending as much time as I do on this project.
Anyway, you can just download Tasks from F-Droid for free and pay nothing at all 😄
Thanks for explaining things to me and I can understand the decision but I think many people don't like subscriptions and because of that search for another way to get the app and find the f-droid-store and download it there for free.
But maybe a perpetual license would bring more money because more people would get it than a subscription? Because in my experience you are more likely to look for another way to get the app if you are forced to get a subscription... (I have no proof for that statement)
I was shocked when I saw this number was so small and I do hope it's not accurate

I've decided to support the project because
PS I really want to know if there's some onboarding material for potential collaborators? I suppose I could at least write some tests to get this other number up
