Signal-desktop: Since the last update I can't maximize pictures or download videos without a Signal restart

Bug description

Since the last update I can't increase the size of a received picture or download a video. When I try to do so, nothing happens

Steps to reproduce

1. Receive a picture or a video
2. Click the picture or the name of the video
3. Nothing happens
4. Restart Signal
5. It now works as intended

Actual result: It ain't no working
Expected result: It should work without a restart

I spent some time trying to reproduce this behavior on OSX, and I couldn't. Can you tell me anything more about how you're using the product? Does it happen with every received picture/video? Every conversation?

I couldn't reproduce this too, but I have this problem too after first launch. Now it looks as it works again. I'm using Fedora 26 Alpha

@Trolldemorted You had this problem as well, given that bug you entered. Is there anything else you can say about when it happens?

I just sent the same image to myself 8 times. My observations:

• not related to the "unread messages south from here"-marker, happens with and without
• not related to the file. Sometimes it happened, sometimes not
• if the conversation was not pre-loaded (i.e. it was never selected since startup), the image was always not responding to clicks
• if the conversation was pre-loaded, it was always responding to clicks

I can confirm this on Windows 7 Signal-Desktop 0.41.1. It just concerned the last picture I just received. Similiar to Trolldemorted the conversation was not pre-loaded. I received messages from this conversation (1:1) and clicked on this thread to be opened. Pictures from the same conversation received earlier or in other conversations with also earlier received pictures were not affected. After a restart of the app the picture in question could be maximised again.
