Sensei: Block editor: Teachers unable to save course settings
Steps to Reproduce
- Sign in as a teacher.
- Edit/create a new course using the new block editor.
- Click
Publish/Submit for Reviewand confirm.
What I Expected
Both post content and meta boxes save. Message comes up confirming course was saved.
What Happened Instead
Spinner keeps spinning. Meta box request ends with error. Meta box content is not saved

After a bunch of digging, I've determined that this is a bug in Gutenberg. I submitted a PR - https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/pull/15375
That said, I consider this to be a pretty serious issue for Sensei, and it will likely take a while for that PR to make its way into WP core. I'll put together a PR with a workaround that we can use until it does.
