Gimp 2.9.5 > alreay exist SVG-icons. You can change color for this:
Papirus Colors:
sudo sh -c "sed -i s/414141/5c616c/g /usr/share/gimp/2.0/icons/Symbolic-Inverted/*/apps/*.svg"

Papirus Dark Colors:
sudo sh -c "sed -i s/bebebe/d3dae3/g /usr/share/gimp/2.0/icons/Symbolic/*/apps/*.svg"

Wow!! Awesome.

and Thanks.

Maybe you guys should mention about this in the main page

Btw, why there is no icons for stable version?
or maybe a separate folder so we can add using _Edit > Preferences > Themes_

Btw, why there is no icons for stable version?

@varlesh , please, could you send me the splash screen in papirus style?

@jEsuSdA Looks awesome. Thanks mate!

great work @varlesh will look in your source to check which icons are missing for gimp 2.10 support.

@DarkknightAK It's not my icons, it's original vector Gimp icons and change colors to Papirus palette

@varlesh do you have a list which icons are needed for gimp? or the path to the origin svg icons from gimp.

it's origin monochrome gimp icons

Hi @varlesh sorry to intervene here but I reused your logo for a new splash screen for GIMP 2.10, do you mind ? https://www.opendesktop.org/p/1232947/

Nice!

Here the Papirus Gimp Splash modified to suits with new 2.10 version:
