Notepad3: Problem with filenames in gwLng folder in zip

Created on 4 Mar 2021  路  5Comments  路  Source: rizonesoft/Notepad3

I downloaded Notepad3_5.21.227.1.zip from page with latest release and it still has same bug from #2560
Is it possible to rename files to tr-TR.lang, el-GR.lang, zh-TW.lang, etc? This can nip the problem in the bud.

Hello @alexantr ,
Thanks for the reporting. 馃憤

Feel free to download these 2 packed files (same data) and report if they are correct or not correct ? 馃

Hello @alexantr ,
I was not able to reproduce your issue? 馃
If I good understand, your issue occurs only with the .zip version.
To be sure that all filenames are treated as UTF-8, if have added the switch -mcu=on in my script.

cu=[off \| on] | off | 7-Zip uses UTF-8 for file names that contain non-ASCII symbols.

Feel free to download this new .zip file (with switch -mcu) and report if it is correct or not correct ? 馃

Hello @alexantr ,
As far as I'm concerned, I think you (requester) can close this issue...
