Notepad3: opacity

It is hard to see the background sometimes. I wish to adjust the opacity. Please evaluate its necessity.

It is in Notepad3.ini: [Settings2] OpacityLevel=75 (75% is default, feel free to use values between 10%-100%)

I must edit notepad3.ini every times if I set it frequently?

Until now, this setting has been considered as a "less frequently changed" option - once found a preferred value, it is not changed anymore. I don't understand the use-case for changing it frequently?
(Okay, it is not very convenient to find a satisfying value - but changing it frequently?)

There are some different backgrounds. They are different kinds of colors. I need to change the opacity in order to read the background clearly.
Okey. Maybe it is not a popular requirement.

If there are more votes for a "opacity slider" we will put it in the product backlog.

I do not see the need for a change in this area for a parameter so little used.
When @rizonesoft releases its "Settings Manager", it will be easier to modify it. :wink:
