Issue Type: Bug
The extension itself installs fine, but the dependencies cannot be downloaded. The machine is behind a proxy, all of the settings are fine as other things (like CPP tools) work correctly and can be downloaded and installed.
Extension version: 1.0.1510
VS Code version: Code - Insiders 1.42.0-insider (68615717819b3731705d92ec06b52edd47665291, 2020-01-22T05:31:57.634Z)
OS version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.17763
Remote OS version: Linux x64 4.15.0-74-generic
Any movement expected on this?
We recently released a fix; on newer versions, you should be shown a notification with a Repair button.
If you don't see the notification, you still can try it from the Command Palette (Shift + Ctrl + P), Live Share / Repair Installation
Let us know if this resolves the issue
@BrunoGuardia yep, seems to work now. Thanks!
@BrunoGuardia actually, the installation on the remote works, but installation on local machine (Windows, behind corporate proxy) still doesn't.
To be more precise, live share installation succeeds on local machine. The live share audio extension can't download its dependencies. not sure if this is the right bug tracker for this.
yeh, I met the same problem, and tried repair but the dowanloading status is always spinning
Still not working for me. Endless "Repairing Extension" spinning...
Hey, I'm facing the same issue. It keeps in "Repairing Extension" but nothing happens. What extra info do you need to fix this?
Same issue here. Behind proxy. Can't install dependencies. "Repair" just seems to reload the window and then it just displays the same notification...
Looking at the logs, I can't find any mention of the failure. Is there a place we can look to see the output of the failure?
