I had a feature suggestion that went unanswered in the forum some months back
https://lichess.org/forum/lichess-feedback/challenge-url#1
It'd be awesome if I could save different challenge links for different time controls for viewers to click
...
thibault 1/28/2019
that's a good idea @ChessWithChris and quite doable

@thibault the man himself
thanks so much for answering
thibault 1/28/2019
by crafting a URL like https://lichess.org/challenge/TheFinnisher?tc=5+0,3+0,2+1&variant=standard,chess960&rated=false
(don't click it, it doesn't exist yet)
ChessWithChris 1/28/2019
yeah perfect. I want to add that link to my chatbot so it just works
thibault 1/28/2019
then the page would only have the relevant buttons. Can do
I'm opening this issue to track completion of this feature request.
Sorry, you have the wrong @thibault.
Hi, I would highly be interested by a feature or just a way to have links with variants or time controls that viewers could use to challenge me just by clicking on it.
In the same manner, I would like to know whether it would be possible to have an automatic betting system in the twitch channel, proposing to the viewers each game to bet whether the streamer or his opponent would be a winner.
Thanks in advance.
Hi all,
Is this feature available? IF not, is there a workaround challenge someone else by means of a link?
I'd like this feature too.
At the moment, the best we can seem to do is:
https://lichess.org/?user=PLAYER#friend
But I would like to be able to specify all of the parameters (time, increment, etc), and specify the starting colour, and it should dive straight into the challenge.
Even if just populates the form with the parameters and the player had to press the white/black/random would be nearly ok.

Hi Paul, in the meantime ChallengeOpen was released. You can check the api for details.
