Can you provide a link to a page which shows this issue?
The issue is when I'm in my dashboard & click to open the Yoast plugin.
WordPress 4.7.2
Yoast 4.2
Even I am also facing the same issue using above mentioned version of WordPress and Yoast.
Thanks for reporting this issue. However, we're unable to reproduce this.
Sometimes strange behavior may be caused by a plugin or theme conflict. The fastest way to rule out conflicts is to deactivate all non-Yoast plugins and switch to a standard theme like Twenty Sixteen. If this resolves the issue, you have a conflict and should activate one plugin at a time until you locate the conflict. Finally, after all plugins are active, switch to your theme. This will narrow down the conflict to a specific plugin or a theme conflict.
If you are unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we wrote a small guide that will walk you through the steps. You can find it here: How to Check For Plugin Conflicts
We understand if you wouldn't want to deactivate your plugins and switch themes on a production site, so it may be preferable that you set up a staging environment for your tests.
If you're not familiar with a staging site, this article will help you get started: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/
Can you please inform us of the results?
Thanks for the answer.
But my issue has been resolved. I have updated the plugin Google Analytics by MonsterInsights, it started working. Not sure whether this is a actual reason for not working the YOAST.
I found the one to blame in my case. A plugin named "Better Click To Tweet" is using a PHP class named 'yoast_i18n' which is really wrong.
The conflict for me was with Clicky. Also a Yoast plugin...
I get this issue too FYI.
Deactivating the Better Click to Tweet plugin worked for me. Thanks.
Oh no! I have both Google Analytics AND Better Click to Tweet. I guess I'll have to choose between either Yoast or those two... :(
Thanks for reporting what plugins are causing the conflicts. We'll look into it to find out what goes wrong.
My workaround is to keep all plugins active, and then just deactivate BCTTweet when I want to go into the Yoast dashboard; and then re-activate afterwards. Hopefully this is temporary.
I just renamed the class named 'yoast_i18n' in BCTT to something else, and that did the trick. They can now work together.
The author of BCTT just released a new version that fix the problem.
This is fixed in 4.2.1.
