Wordpress-seo: Breadcrumb settings are not migrated correctly after installing Yoast SEO 7.0

Yeah on upgrade Breadcrumbs disabled for me and also the separator changed.

I also have an issue where subpages are not appearing in the breadcrumb. Let me know if I should set up a new issue here.

For example, if I’m at /about/ it works fine displaying:
Home > About

If I’m at a sub page of About, such as /about/test-page/ then it loses the About page like:
Home > Test Page

So for me it’s just affecting sub pages. I can see no reason why interference from other plugins would be causing this as I have created a very vanilla, plugin-free site.

@KingWebsites confirmed this is happening here as well - I suggest raising another issue and referencing this one from it. It may well be a different root cause.

I think this was fixed with 7.0.1, even though we can't return options that were already deleted. The issue @KingWebsites is referring to above will be addressed in https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/9128

I can confirm that this bug is still not resolved in 7.3.
Here is a gif of my update from 6.3.1 to 7.3.

Can you fix it please?
I have to update Yoast SEO on a hundred sites and I don't want to manually reset the settings for each one.
