Steps to Reproduce

  1. Navigate to: http://getemoji.com/

Expected Behavior:
Emojis should be displayed

Actual Behavior:
Only a few Emojis are displayed

Tested on beta and nightly

The bug has been fixed, and today's Firefox nightly is again showing emoji on sites like this one.

Confirmed on my phone in Firefox 51/53. They're not doing anything special on the site, just specifying the Segoe UI Emoji font on a bunch of characters.

Note that it's working for me in Firefox 49 and Chrome (though Chrome shows blank space instead of black boxes for some emoji that are likely not in the font).

I filed a bug with Firefox for Android on the recommendation of kats on the IRC channel.

The bug has been fixed, and today's Firefox nightly is again showing emoji on sites like this one.
