Walletwasabi: Coins dequeued even though the funds are more than the minimum

Created on 11 Jul 2020  Â·  11Comments  Â·  Source: zkSNACKs/WalletWasabi

I enqueued more that the minimum required (3 coins) but the coins got dequeued with a notification saying Not enough funds enqueued:

Maybe this is just a testnet issue but anyway.

I found it too on v1.1.12rc TestNet, when funds are equal or near the minimum required for CoinJoin.

Let me know if I can help

Wasabi Wallet will register up to 7 coins in a CoinJoin. The sum of these 7 coins must be above the minimum registration amount.

In your case you are queuing more than 7.

Don't know until now. I deleted an issue I was working on about the status and operation of the CoinJoin.

I found the information on the web FAQs: https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/FAQ/FAQ-UseWasabi.html#what-is-the-maximum-number-of-coins-that-can-be-registered-in-a-coinjoin

I think that this can be an UX problem, because Wasabi let the user select more than 7 coins and don't output an error about that limit. I can write a new issue about my findings on UX/UI on this if required.

Thanks!

@ibertario There are already two issues open for that #3101 & #3709

Same here.

14 coins queued.
Error message: Not enough funds.

@BTCBellyButton That is why you get that error message.

Yeah I got that. Still the Error message isn't consistent.
It'd be helpful if it says "Dequeued, too many coins. Must be no more than
7" instead of "Dequeued, not enough funds.".

Just a note here. You can enqueue as many coins as you want but only 7 can take part in one CJ.
