When I start the program from my file manager, it will open up for a moment and then close. Sometimes it will open and then become inactive or freeze. If I start it from a terminal window with ./wassabee it will run okay more often. However, there is a slowness to shut down, if at all.
At one point Task Manager showed two instances of wassabee. It appears that one did not shut down correctly and the second one did the same thing.
If left alone when frozen, it will deteriorate the screen display and become gibberish.
See above.

My test system is Debian 10 with Xfce 4.12
Inaccessible at this stage.
WasabiLinux-1.1.11.1
Maybe related, often if I leave it open for a while, it shows as mostly black with some fucked up UI elements.
Most likely Avalonia related.

This has been reported in #3500
Yes, yahiheb, exactly my case. It kind of starts to pixelate and then develop various colors and thin out to where the background and desktop icon outlines are seen.
thanks for confirming the report @KitchM, I think this is fixed in the new Avalonia.
How do I get the new Avalonia?
You cannot... yet...
First, the new Avalonia v10 needs to be released, then the dependency needs to be upgraded in wasabi master branch, with custom fixes, and then this needs to be released in Wasabi v1.1.12. So, still two months.
So just put up with the issue for now? Okay. Good luck.
Yes, until the fix is deployed in the upstream dependency and merged in Wasabi...
But you can "hack around" the issue by simply closing and relaunching Wasabi.
Right, that's a given. In fact, it is required if it is to be usable. Admittedly, I have not tried it yet on a Tails system, because I am sticking to the test setup until it can be configured for the anonymous system with the necessary symlink configuration. (Still working on figuring that out.) That will be the next step. But since it is being tested on Debian, and Tails is based on Debian, I would expect the same results when running it. We will see.
Could it be related to https://github.com/zkSNACKs/WalletWasabi/issues/3426 ?
I don't think so. I don't use windows.
I found that if I move my mouse over the window, the programs stays open and I can then do things with it while moving back and forth from other programs. I do not know if this helps any.
@KitchM Can you paste here the logs right before the freeze? Keep on eye on your privacy before hitting the Comment button.
Thank you for the option. However, as it has been so long, they are no longer available. I will try to remember that next time it happens.
Closing this. Feel free to reopen if encounters.
