Right now anyone with access to a machine running wasabi can open the app and see full tx history.
They can't spend the coins but they can see addresses and so on.
Would be nice if there was an option to encrypt the wallet so it won't open without entering the password.
Alternatively an option to open the app in snooping wife mode and require a password to switch to regular view
This is a feature very often requested, and I too think it is vitally important, despite we must assume that anyone with access to the hardware can screw you over.
I would really like to see this issue prioritized, as it is a privacy concern that the xpub can be grepped without password.
@MaxHillebrand Is this a duplicate issue? I mean is there a similar issue in this repo?
The issues that you linked here, and it has been in slack / dev-call conversation many times.
I searched through the issues of the /WalletWasabi/ repo, and could not find any similar feature requests, but I still think that the duplicate tag is valid.
