I initiated a transaction 2 hours ago on my wasabi wallet client, to an address wasabi generated. The transaction showed instantly as unconfirmed, and was included in my balance.
I restarted the application an hour later to check, and the transaction disappeared, does not show up in my balance or in my transaction history. I checked with another wallet and the UTXO is confirmed and in my wallet.
I updated wasabi, I deleted .wasabi folder and downloaded all blocks. I deleted wallet and recovered it. I also switched to testnet and back to main net. Nothing I do is fixing this issue.
Help me if to understand it.
.walletwasabi folder. Is this what you did?
1.The utxo did successfully receive coins. But Wasabi is not showing it.
Did you receive with the Receive tab or it was a send operation and this was supposed to be the change coin that's coming back to you?
How large of your wallet? Just an approximation. Did you coinjoin a few, tens, hundreds, or thousands of times?
It was a transaction done with Receive, this wallet hasn't coinjoined ever. it would have been largest UTXO in the wallet.
I see. In this case it doesn't make sense to me. We ruled out all the things I suspected may happened. Could you recover your wallet with Electrum to verify that the transaction is indeed in your wallet?
https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/using-wasabi/RestoreElectrum.html#restoring-wasabi-wallet-via-electrum-gui
I did that and it is in my wallet. I was concerned the address wasabi generated wasn't mine, that was the first thing I did after wasabi wouldn't show the UTXO
There are 3 things we could do here:
Wasabi generated the missing address to receive a new transaction. I'm testing the wallet to see if it does this with the next address m84/0/0/0/4.
I have same problem here.
It seems that it's showing some old state. I see bitcoins in wasabi which I already sent out from wallet and don't see incoming transaction.
I tried to delete .wasabiwallet and recover wallet from seed.
I had version 1.1.9.1 but later updated to 1.1.9.2 and no change. OS Linux Debian.
I updated wasabi
@KISBITCOIN What version were you using when this happened?
Started in version 1.1.9.1 and persists in version 1.1.9.2
A check at r/WasabiWallet shows that many of us have the same recent issue of lost receive addresses. The transactions are confirmed on the blockchain, but do not show up in WW history or wallet balances
I also have this issue. I sent a transaction and the wallet was showing it an unconfirmed. After few hours I decided to restart the wallet and transaction disappeared. Then I recovered it from seed and in the end got the same state.
Also I have quick question: how to copy address labels from one wallet to another? Just in case I need to stay with the recovered wallet instead.
@madashell666 I don't think you lost money. For me it looks like a bug (but very annoying one!) in the block filters. They didn't catch the block with the transaction for some reason - that is my version.
It started working. Few minutes ago.
Mine is there now too. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, it is working. Great!
I have the same issue. but its not working for me in v1.1.9.3. the only time utxo show up correctly if I go to testnet close/restart and then back to mainnet. Every time I close wasabi on mainnet and open it again utxo's will not show correctly. Then I have to choose testent and close and do the same procedure again. what did you guys do to fix it?
@Kortik7 This seems like a server (node) side issue. Probably their copy of blockchain wasn't updating properly and they just had to re-sync it.

but if re-sync why not showing after?
@lontivero mentioned in Slack/Telegram chat that the issue was on the server side, an error in producing the BIP158 block filter. So not an issue on the client side, that's why the issue was apparent for any OS.
Lucas, can you please elaborate what that broken update was?
Several users report that they can now see their coins again.
The server stopped creating filters. We don't know why. Lucas tried to investigate it, he did not succeed to find the cause, he restarted the server and now things work fine.
well I updated to the latest version from source. but I am still missing one utxo. the only way to see it is to testnet restart, mainnet restart again. after Wasabi GUI stopped gracefully and I start to mainnet again I dont see utxo still missing. so only after testnet restart and back to mainnet I see them again.
While I don't see how yesterday's hiccup could corrupt the wallet state, it's not impossible it did achieve that somehow.
