I've been taking a look at some of the issues and saw mention of a new AIV+AIC interface being planned (448).

Could we get an overview what type of changes are in mind?
Wondering because I have noticed a couple of bugs, feature requests etc. and would like to contribute code where I can to help make improvements, but it would be very helpful to know what is planned so that work is not wasted, and also if possible a rough timeline (ie. next month, this year, or further in the future?)

I would also love to have a new release soon to be used for the next AI contest.
Also, i would like to get @forestleaves or @cjp-luany on board for a chinese translation for that release.
I would love to get that early march or at least in march it possible?

I can't give you information about the next update.
I'm waiting for it myself.
I think you should talk to @ByBurton @Sh0wdown @ckpengine @LordHansCapon since they've been changing the USP lately.

@Sh0wdown wanted to introduce a new system for including combinations of aiv + aic. But he's still busy so I doubt there will be anything coming anytime soon. But don't take my word for it.
