Given that YNAB introduced their own version of a calculator I'm not surprised this stopped working.
Calculator disappears without putting calculated value in the input field
What do y'all think? Is the new YNAB calculator sufficient? It certainly doesn't look or act like a typical calculator but if everyone is OK with it, we can pull the pop-up calculator from the Toolkit. Please leave a comment in this issue.
@akashpjames You're comfortable with the simplicity of their calculator? What do others think?
I am comfortable with the in-line calculator. The only operations I carry out uses only those four operators and I can pretty much just type it in the field directly instead of clicking on the calculator icon.
I personally find that as long as I have the capability of entering calculations in the cell itself - then I'm happy. I haven't found a need to use the popup calculator as of late, and don't see myself using their implementation either as long in-cell functionality exists.
I like their implementation better. Always found the toolkit calculator buggy anyway.
I reckon we remove the calculator in the next release and see if anyone makes an issue/post asking for it back and go from there.
We're going to hide the Popup Calculator for now and perhaps remove it entirely if it's not missed. If we bring it back, we'll fix this issue.
