As modern PC Games have developed, so too have their options available to the end user. TF2's current options menu, while extensive, has lots of potential room for improvement. Many modern games provide additional video and audio settings that make it much easier to control exactly how the game appears and functions. An example of this is the ability to choose the audio output.
As it currently stands, you cannot choose a different output for the game's audio. You may have multiple audio outputs, but TF2 only uses what the computer currently sees as the default output. If such an option was created, this would be incredibly helpful for streamers and Video editors alike, as well as those with more elaborate PC setups who wish to split their audio.
I am currently using an external program to force the TF2 audio to an alternative output, but even that has issues, as well as the Inbuilt Windows 10 settings forcing me to manually select the alternative output and reset the sound engine in game every single time I restart the game.
Another point is something that was added in the Discord discussion, commonly used console settings could becoming actual UI options. This could make TF2 far more user friendly without the need for users to mess around with console commands/cvars.

TF2 definitely needs a major rework of the advanced options menu, and this is something I would like to look into.
