Tdesktop: Oldest chat history disappearing for some chats

Steps to reproduce

1. Find a personal chat which has a lot of messages (many thousands)
2. Scroll or use search to reach the beginning of the chat

Expected behaviour

All messages from the beginning of communication should be visible.

Actual behaviour

The oldest messages have been progressively disappearing since mid-2017. I have lost nearly 2 years' worth of messages on 2 chats.

Operating system:
Windows 7
Version of Telegram Desktop:
1.2.17, but occurred in 1.1.23 and Android too. It's across clients. I know it's not a Telegram Desktop issue, but I don't see anywhere to report bugs about Telegram (and get a response).

This is an issue with server architecture (clients can see ~1.1m messages before they're archived to an offline server based on largest current chat entity) that has been too lazy to be fixed because telegram developers have been sitting in their offices with their hands on their cocks, doing absolutely fuck all. They've spent 2 months on an update that only added an age limit to signing up to the telegram service and didn't bother addressing the 20 or so major productivity inhibiting bugs and issues this app has (on desktop and android client), the list is endless, yet the next update will be yet another aesthetical change on a whim or a releasing of stickers, which by the way, I haven't sent one sticker in all 1.5m messages that have been exchanged on my account, because I'm not three years old. It baffles me how they can undergo all that GUI recoding just for an aesthetical whim that will just piss people off, instead of fixing real issues and gaining real benefit and reward for the programming efforts, the scrum master needs to be sacked, or whatever methodolgy they are using, I literally don't care at this stage, but they need me on their team, and then the rest of the team to be fired.

That's a 1 million messages issue, I'm afraid.
Please contact support and ask them to check if you're affected.
Sadly, Telegram Desktop can't do anything about it.
