Hey there, thanks for this integration!
Are any plans to support subscribing to changes in GitHub Projects (the Kanban feature), and what kind of timeline we're looking at?
We use projects to streamline the PR review process and it would be nice to ping changes in review status to Slack.

Thanks for opening this issue! The team at GitHub is not actively working on new features for the GitHub + Slack integration. We will still be deploying security/bug fixes and reviewing community contributions. If you would like to help implement an improvement, read more about contributing and consider submitting a pull request.
We don't have any plans to add support for projects yet. But I'll talk about it to the rest of the team to see what we can do. Thanks for the suggestion!

Both the Wiki pages and Projects have been really powerful tools for organizing my team's dev efforts.
However, I spend a ridiculous amount of time simply relaying Slack updates whenever my team's Projects or Wiki sections change. These two Github services don't have the same seamless integrations that I am used to.
Integrated github notifications in Slack would do a much better job at sending out these subscription changes to my team and function like email updates on code commits or pull requests
I would really like to see this feature reopened with _the following use cases_ considered:
For an `-[] item` in the `[To Do] card` card that was marked completed: + push notification to Slack containing the modified `[To Do] card` and completed `"item"` + mention `completed by` if possible (whoever checked off box)
>
For all Wiki page commits:
+ push notification to Slack containing commit message and modified lines summary
+ i.e Repo wiki [Page] was modified by user. The following changes have been made: "
+ post all lines modified (not sure if option)
This feature would be very useful, especially in a Scrum/Agile environment where moving a card from "In Progress" to "Completed" could trigger a Slack notification to keep everyone in the team up to date.
I would have to agree with the statements here. To be able to have Kanban based alerts/notifications come directly from GitHub into Slack upon Project column/status change would be a game changer for dev teams, especially in 100% distributed work environments. I'd be more inclined to leverage Git more than products like Trello, JIRA or Rally because this is the native ecosystem devs operate in and the ease of use would make this more intuitive for everyone.
This will be a great feature if this slack integration can support org board
