Seems like the servers are overloaded. They will probably scale up the number of servers to serve all the new people that started using Signal.

Hopefully they won't take long. I managed to convince a bunch of people to move from Telegram to Signal but now they are complaining of the quality of service since it's going down constantly in the last hour.
Might be a duplicate of #4852 ?
@silvetti They had some similar issues a few days ago, which were fixed relatively quickly (a few hours tops). I agree that first impression is extremely important, but the current growth they are experiencing is just staggering, which makes it extremely difficult to stay on top.

Hey, I've noticed this problem too when sending notes to myself. However, while I was not able to send notes from my desktop client, my computer could receive notes sent from my phone.
Here's the error I got when sending notes from the desktop client:

Same issue here with Signal 1.39.5 on Windows 10 build 19042.746.
How does that work ? Will the lost message be re-sent later (good), or is it lost forever for the recipients in error (bad) ?
The devs are on it: #4853 (comment)
The issue is closed but the problem still appears ...
