Signal-desktop: Collapsible Contact Pane

It would be really nice if I could collapse down the contact list on the left. So that all that is shown is the round avatar, which would save screen real estate.

It also adds some basic security! Its mindbogglingly this is not baked in from scratch.

Duplicate of #1871 as well as a few others.
Definitely would like to see this happen. In the meantime, you can use the dev-tools in View > Toggle Developer Tools to adjust the toolbar size manually. Pretty bad work-around though.

Please _please_ _please_ make this happen, the non-collapsible contact list pane is not just a waste of screen real estate (not too much of a functional hinderance since many of us work with multi-monitor setups) -- however, it is unsightly and make Signal look unrefined especially compared to other messaging platforms that do support this feature. Form is (sometimes) just as important as function.

Not quite the same, I don't want it to just collapse at small viewports.
This is for a "mini" contact view...ie just the Avatar and no text messages or name... At any viewport
