Actual result: Disappearing messages clock icon shows
Expected result: Disappearing messages clock icon should remain hidden

Fixed in 3488816 / v0.24.1. @mcginty clued me into this one before I saw @2-4601 's report, but it was pretty neck and neck tbh.. 😝

I noticed this bug already in the 1970s. For some reason it just took a little longer than usual for my carrier pigeons to transfer the packets to GitHub.
