Signal-desktop: Add members to or update groups, leave groups
Is it just me, or have the options to edit/update and leave the group disappeared :confused: :runner:

The group update ui got lost in a redesign shuffe but it will be back again some day.

Is group creation on the desktop version ever going to be fixed?

Without this feature, people that use Signal without a smartphone are unable to leave groups (or create new ones). This makes them doomed to stay forever in all groups they ever joined, as there is no way to leave groups. Combined with #815 this is an extreme annoyance, that IMHO should be prioritized way higher.

Yeah, I just landed here from Google after I discovered I had no idea how to start a group with two contacts from the Windows desktop client. And it turns out you can't. That's such a major functionality omission.

Will this feature (group creation and leave) ever come back? Seems really basic to me and this request is now 5 years old

Maybe this change would perfectly fit together with the roll-out of the new private group system?
