Feel free to add anything you want here:
If I need 50 games to play in the majority of lobbies, I should at least get credit for private games. I managed to play 20+ private games and found that it counts as 0 games towards the 50 game requirement... it'll take me months to reach that.

... You're by far the outlier. Most would only use private games to quickly farm an account to rainbow.
