allow users to change their in game vote before all are submitted
Theres a couple ways I could do this.
1) When you clicks ja/nein, put a checkbox on it. Your loader icon goes away as usual. You can click the other one to move the checkbox to it. When all votes are done on all players, cards go away as usual.
2) Card and loader goes away as usual on click, click some other icon to make the cards come back and put the loader back on, delaying conclusion of votes.
Thoughts?
1st looks better
my suggestion is to keep both ja and nein option up until last person vote and you just highlight your pick.
Once highlighted you pick both ja and nein stay but one of them glows or whatever and you can change which card is highlighted in that way as many times you want until last person make first highlight. and if you want/can you can add minimize button to chat or make chat avaiable as soon ja or nein is highlighted. does this make sense?
This is just the first option lol.
oh ahm... then i pick 1 :D
You should be able to uncheck both options if you are still undecided or change your mind and want to discuss before committing to a vote.
I think, needs some kind of confirmation, like you click on ballot and game asks "Are you sure to vote Ja(Nein)?"
+plus to winestone
@WineStone1 The problem with that is that many players will quickly lock in their votes and then they will be unable to change them. This makes it pointless for the players who have yet to vote to try and convince them to change their minds. In the board game version everyone is able to change their mind up until the very moment you all vote simultaneously.
@andy013 I see in this way - two ballots, player think about vote. Player pick Ja, game require confirmation (y\n), player change his minds, press no, game returning to two ballot screen.
@andy013 I like this the best. So to recap: cards come up and are flashing yellow, a player clicks one and it turns solid, spinner goes away, he/she clicks the same one again, cards back to flashing yellow and spinner comes back, he/she clicks the other one while one is already red/selected, the other one turns red and spinner is still gone. Whats nice is all of that UI is already built so just some minorish back end changes.
Sigh, trolls will have new thing to play with. That`s also nice way to make games longer.
I like first option
