Radarr: [Feature Request] Add Multi , VFF, VFQ to the french profile

Description:

Make Radarr recognise releases containing "Multi" and/or "VFF" and/or "VFQ" as a french release when we set a french profile. Because I have some issue when trying to download this type of release because it says that it's an english one.

I am not sure about labeling French from Multi, doesn't that mean its just contains multiple languages?

Multi can be a mix of :

• VO
• VFF (truefrench)
• VFQ (Quebec version)

You have a french content at 100% with a MULTI on a french tracker.

@lucianot54 but Multi can mean other languages too. For example this release: Equity 2016 SPANiSH MULTi 720p BluRay x264-JODER MULTi is there for spanish. If it has Multi without the text French in the release name we cannot assume it is french. If it has french in the title then we're all good and it is already working like it should.

I added VO, VFF and VFQ to french.

@onedr0p, you right, MULTI mean multilanguage but on french torrent tracker (for my case t411.li), a movie with only the word MULTI in the title mean English + VFF and/or VFQ.

For exemple with Nocturnal Animals, i have a mix :

• Nocturnal.Animals.2016.MULTi.1080p.BluRay.x264-ANONA (VO + VFQ)
• Nocturnal.Animals.2016.FRENCH.720p.BluRay.x264-ANONA (In the fact, it's a VFQ, it's a french but not a truefrench)
• Nocturnal Animals (2016) MULTi VFQ [1080p] BluRay x264-PopHD (VO + VFQ)
• Nocturnal Animals 2016 VFQ 1080p BluRay DTS x265-HDHEVC (VFQ)

Maybe add a checkbox for extends the search. If i selected French, i can override parameter with the word MULTI.

Instead could you add a preferred tag of multi to the quality profile? There's no easy way to handle that in which you want.

It should be an option per quality profile like (Include Multi). So If you are watching a release in french MULTI would be treated as French, but if you choose a release as English, "MULTI" would be treated as english ?. It's not perfect bue it's more flexible.

I have the same issue. Adding "multi" as a tag is not enough to bypass the language parser.

I would also like to get an update on this. With Radarr not being able to handle MULTI tags, auto-downloads for French content with an VO soundtrack is basically broken, or at least severely hurt. The reason being that uploads tagged with MULTI are not tagged with VO, VFF or VFQ, so they are never snatched.

This is particularly annoying since there are way more good MULTI uploads than there are good FRENCH uploads for big movie releases with an English VO, at least in my experience. Also, I always prefer the MULTI version because I do want both languages. With the actual implementation, anything that gets snatched automatically requires that I manually add/download an English version afterwards.

The way I see it, the best implementation would add those two features:

1. Add MULTI to the list of language options;
2. Add a "fallback" option, where if MULTI isn't available, fall back to French profile.

So my solution is to add this peace of in LanguageParser

"MOVIE MULTI FRENCH" => ENGLISH
"Equity 2016 SPANiSH MULTi 720p BluRay x264-JODER" => ENGLISH

Which is correct, you will just need to choose english in your Profile, and it will avoid to miss some release

@camilleth no it is not correct. Multi means several languages. With your (bad) solution, when you search for French release, no release with "multi" will be found if multi is considered English only...

I think that specifying a default language by indexer is a better approach.

I think not. Why a file should be dependent by the way you get it? Moreover, best indexers referenced English AND other languages the same way.

@ToXinE Because most indexers aren't that great at naming things :(. Also most "language specialized" indexers usually have one language, but they do not mention it in the title because most users know what it will be. Hence the _ability_ (not necessity) to additionally help Radarr and tell it what multi can mean if no language tags are present on an Indexer.

Does anyone know if it's possible to manually modify the profile in LanguageParse.cs once Radarr is installed on a server. So I could edit the french profile to match my needs.
