Powertoys: [PowerToys Keyboard Manager] Remapy key to brightness up/down

Summary of the new feature/enhancement

Allow for remapping of keys to raise and lower brightness if supported.
Currently options allow for remapping to volume up down, playback start resume etc.

Same behaviour as XF86MonBrightnessUp

Those are outside key codes so this would be a future enhancement as it would have to be done via some type of API :(

Should be doable with dllcall to powrprof and PowerApplySettingChanges although the latter is still undocumented.
Thats what the power control panel and brightness slider appear to be using.

You mean brightness of display, not brightness of keyboard backlight, I presume?

I would also love to see such options. On my keyboard hp pavilion 600 display brightness up/down is there and I cannot map it to any other key.

I too would love to be able to map the brightness up/down to any key on the keyboard. This would be huge for me.
