Same here
Windows Build: 10.0.18363 N/A Build 18363
Outlook Version 1909 (Build 12026.20344)
PowerToys 0.14.

It doesn't produce any window when you put Outlook to the exclude list and I can still use Windows + ArrowKeys to snap it into any zone.

I also had this issue. I also had issues with chrome when a site would open a popup window it would not render correctly in google chrome.
Chrome: 78.0.3904.108
Windows: 1909 Build 18363
PowerToys: 0.14

Capture

Same issue with Slack. Uninstall the latest release and reinstall v13.

I'm seeing it also for other application which are snapped. I can avoid this by disabling the setting Move newly created windows to their last known zone.

Same issue with Edge Beta and MemoQ 9.1. "Move newly created windows to their last known zone." also fixed this completely.

I'm seeing the same with this latest version (14). Noticed first in Outlook in Office Pro Plus 2019, as well as Chrome and Discord. Windows 1909, build 18363.476.

thank you for reporting the issue.
Please verify if in the FancyZones settings, the Move newly created windows to their last known zone option is ON, if it's ON please turn it off.
That may solve the problem.
Thanks.

I had this same issue with microsoft teams as well as acrobat reader. Tried changing that setting and it made it worse. Now acrobat reader refuses to show up on the screen. Just opens a background task that needs to be killed in task manager.

@masonlee01
turning Move newly created windows to their last known zone OFF, did it work for Microsoft Teams, or it is also not opening as Acrobat Reader?

I'm not sure on Teams. The issue on teams seemed to crop up when I
switched to task view and then back. It would lock up the application &
mess with the title bar. I downgraded to v13 and that seems to fix the
problem.

@KiwiGonzales @SirHenryIII @Riiskyy @DOFfactory @orlando2bjr @rothgecw @masonlee01 could you try our new DLL and see if the problem persists. Here are the instructions and the download link.

@bzoz , thank you. The new DLL seems to have resolved the issue for me. I appreciate the help!

@rothgecw
thank you for taking the time to test the fix, this is really helpful.
Thanks.

@bzoz problem solved for me too. Thanks!

@bzoz New (significantly more minor) issue: Outlook reminder windows are now resized too. Not sure if other applications' secondary windows will be affected.

@rothgecw thanks for the report, can you give this DLL a spin?

@bzoz Yes, that seems to have resolved that issue now too. I'm not currently seeing any unexpected behaviors at this time. Thanks so much!

Thanks for your feedback!

Was going to report the same behaviour. DLL solved it for me as well. Thanks
