Powertoys: Make Search Worthwhile Again.

I'll keep this short bcz there's literally a lot that could be added for this. It's almost a standlaone app but it should be part of windows.

  1. Press Win key.
  2. Type 'Desktop'.
  3. Watch search fail not finding the desktop folder.
  4. Cry.

So really the cortana search is at best aweful. Can we make it useful (or create something else that is useful)? It'd be good for people who like to not use mouse.

I really miss Alfred or even just Spotlight from macOS. "Everything" is great, but UI is outdated. Wox leveraged "everything" but really funky most of the time.
I think Alfred is the real PowerToy by the name

I use the search feature a lot, Why when I type in "paint.net"
(application) it still focuses and opens normal paint?! Why doesn't a exact
name match overrule a suggestion.

Search also just.. isn't useful for stuff other than launching apps. Why
not show open windows in there as a alternative to alt + tabbing

@Nioxed bcz welcome to Microsoft.

@highpowerxh LaunchBar FTW. I would love a program that powerful on windows. But then again windows isn't really for power users, and average users find using tools like this daunting; they prefer the good old point-n-click style.

This is a duplicate of issue #44. Let's keep all launcher based suggestions and feedback there.
