Openstreetmap-carto: Render highway=service with service=emergency_access as "minor"

Expected behavior

These highways should be rendered like service=driveway or service=parking_aisle.

Actual behavior

The so tagged emergency service ways are rendered as normal service ways and are too wide.

The request seems plausible to me.
As all highway=service are rendered currently, could you please amend the title to "Render highway=service with service=emergency_access as "minor"
which is the category driveways and parking_lane are in.

In principle a reasonable request IMO. I am however wondering about the actual tagging practice here. How does this tag relate to tagging access restrictions? Does it apply to all service roads that are to be used for emergency (and are therefore required to be kept free of obstruction by law for example) or only for service roads that are primarily used for emergency access and are closed to other vehicle traffic. Is it about de facto use for emergency access (difficult to verify) or is it about a road being explicitly signed for emergency access? Good points. Indeed my first guess would be that the characteristic of being an emergency access is orthogonal to the characteristics of being minor or major.

In Germany there are footways or other service ways which are in addition reserved for emergency access. These ways must be free and no cars allowed to stop or park on it or at the entrance. There are sometimes ways beneath buildings only for emergency access with grass paver. In my example the upper part of the Y and the way east of number 103-107 are only for emergency. The lower part of the Y is a normal parking entrance but also emergency=designated and stopping on or in front is forbidden. A fire path is in my opinion a shortcut into a normally dead end road.
