The session used to link to the extended session description on the "sessions page". It is not linked now.
Parent Issue: #4000
@mariobehling This is complicated because the sessions page when opened might not contain the session which is linked, because few sessions are loaded per page and then more when scrolled. A better option would be to use a separate page for single session which has a link back to all sessions page
Other thing which can be done is to show the linked session as the first session in the list expanded and other sessions below it
Ok, I understand. Alternatively I am thinking that we could link to the dedicated page of the session, instead of the schedule or tracks page. This would also be in line with the roadmap where we want to enable people to signup for specific sessions similar to sched.com. Can you do that?
In this case we also need to add a link "session page" for each session into the schedule/tracks pages to allow people to click on it.
We already have session pages, that we could use here, e.g. https://eventyay.com/e/16fa59c7/session/6240
Sure
The implementation does not work for anonymous users. The linked page should be available openly on the web (without options to edit session details). Please give permissions to view this page for everyone. Therefore reopening the issue.
Compare event here: https://eventyay.com/e/8fa7fd14/speakers and click on sessions without being logged in.
Remaining issue opened in #5055 and fixed in #5070
