Notepad version 5.20.915.1, the setting "File change notification" is set to "Auto-reload (unmodified)".
If the opened file is deleted the MessageBox "The current file has been deleted. Save now?" appears. If this is closed with "No" the message appears again and again every few seconds,
Okay, the file watching should be disabled in the case of "NO".
Question: Shall we change the file path to "unknown" or stay with the current path ?
Thanks for the fast response!
From my point of view, the current path should stay. The file can then simply be saved manually afterwards. But some kind of indication in the title would also be nice.
PR #2896: should fix this issue - file modified indicator in title (and enabled save button) should be good enough - file on storage is not equal to loaded document anymore.
Perfect, thank you very much!
