Notepad3: Cannot run latest RC versions

Beginning from version 5.20.227.5_RC2 Notepad3 crashes on start on both my Windows 7 and Windows 10 systems. There is a standard Windows error message on Win7 "Notepad3 has stopped working" and a silent crash on Win10.
Windows error reports and AppCrashView logs from both systems attached.

Issue is fixed in Notepad3Portable_5.20.229.1_RC2.

Feel free to test the RC2 prototype version "Notepad3Portable_5.20.229.1_RC2.paf.exe.7z" or higher.

Note: "Notepad3Portable RC2" can be used in "2 flavors" (with or without the extension ".7z").

Issue is fixed in Notepad3Portable_5.20.229.1_RC2.
