I have been having this issue for nearly a week now. Says "Could not parse the website".

Update to latest version 0.20.2

Same issue, could not parse website. Tap to access any YT site besides main landing and this comes up. Repeatedly trying will sometimes get it to load.
Log from the app:
This happens 95% of the time I try to play something on YT. Sometimes repeatedly trying will get it to load. About to trash this app TBH, but I want it to succeed.

Saw the last comment, will try updating. Thanks.

xibr mentioned a version 0.20.2. F Droid says 0.20.1 is the latest version. Where can I get 0.20.2 in which this problem is hopefully resolved?
Edit: Nvm, found it. Boy GitHub is hard to navigate if you dont use it all the time! Anyway, first video played the first time. Awesome thank you!

@RavenMind Same issues happens periodically, while youtube twists gears, so try to find hotfix update first before you open issue

Update to latest version 0.20.2

Worked, thank you.

For others, just add the repo from newpipe to your Fdroid to get the newest version.

Edit: Extended explanation.
