Mintty 2.8.0 introduces Virtual Tabs, a conciliation of the "tabbed terminal" request (#8).
It could do with some enhancements, particularly a visual tab UI for session switching.

The window icons option (triggered by a 'W' flag in one of the Menu configuration settings) has the drawback that icon transparency is lost (see the unpleasant black background around an icon).
If someone finds out how to fix that, I'd appreciate it.
