Sometimes plugins crash for whatever reason. We should try to recover automatically and restart them. Need to determine when to restart and when not to. Maybe with a backoff policy.

Sometimes only the server component of the plugin crashes while the webapp part keeps running. Would we restart the plugin if either of them crashed?
