Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • Chrome: [Version 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)]

Additional context
It doesn't block completely but I just don't like to seeing larger companies tags smaller solutions (especially freely distributed ones like macpass) falsely. Sorry if this been mentioned before.

Just ditch Chrome in favour of some more open and privacy respecting browser.

I did look into this. Chrome considers http downloads insecure which isn鈥檛 the case for MacPass. I was unable to find a way to let google know that the download isn鈥檛 malware but I guess over time the count will go up and the message should disappear.

Downloading from https://github.com/MacPass/MacPass/releases/download/0.7.12/MacPass-0.7.12.zip on Mac with Version 85.0.4183.83 (Official Build) (64-bit) works flawless.

Also just noticed that instead of direct download, now the download button forwards to GitHub release pages. Safest solution I guess lol.

@Lapin It never pointed to the direct download. This way you can see that there are checksums as well. I might just change this to a direct download but no one did say something about it until you did.
