Live Share does not currently support sharing split terminals.

This has now been addressed in the latest Live Share release 馃敟 Check out the release notes for more details. Thanks everyone for the feedback!

However, I noticed that split shared terminals for a host doesn't split the terminals for the participants.

(If I was a participant, I can't split two shared terminal on my screen)

@JasonLukose Yep, that鈥檚 correct. This issue was tracking the host鈥檚 ability to use split terminals and share them. We don鈥檛 currently have a way for a guest to open a shared terminal in split mode. Though we should track request 馃榿
