Currently the first guest that joins a collaboration session has full intellisense for C#, JS, and TS files. However, subsequent guest that join get colorization and basic / same file intellisense.
When I'm running a collaboration session, connected guests can't see any intellisense at all. What am I missing?
@yelob If you are editing a C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript file, you should be getting full intellisense for the first guest. Otherwise it would be a bug. Other languages do not have full intellisense currently. See platform support for what should / should not work.
What type of project are you working on and are you in VS or VS Code?
Visual Studio on Windows Server 2016, .NET Core project, c# files.
@yelob It's possible there is an issue related to Windows Server 2016. Would you please repro the problem and then use Visual Studios "Report a Problem..." feature to log a bug? This will give us visibility to the logs so we can determine what might be going wrong. That should work for the first guest.
Will do!
Bummer, can't get a report to go through. Keeps giving a 500 error on submission.
@yelob That is strange. You can zip up the logs at %TEMP%\VSFeedbackVSRTCLogs and either email us at [email protected] or raise an issue here if you can't get the report a problem functionality working.
One of my team members was able to zip and send an email. Hopefully it contains useful information.
I did not see another bug open, but I am experiencing similar problems as yelob.
I am running Windows 10, using VS Code 1.22.0-insider a918e7b, in C# files, the guests are not seeing intellisense. Guests has used both VS Code and VS 2017 and experienced these issues.
This should now be available in v0.3.392/v.0.393.
