Lila: Chapters can be embed but a whole study cannot?

Hi,

The correct embedding code looks like this:

Note the /embed/ in the URL. You can get that URL from the "Share" tab under the study board:

Thanks for reply. I figured that out. It's good. However:

I can embed each chapter, which means I have to embed 3.636 pages on my website with chess openings like Nimzo-Larsen Attack that have 16 Chapters = Now have to embed each chapter on a page, which gives me bit of a headache and hard work ahead if I want to do it.

Previously I could embed the study with 16 Chapters in one page. If it' s not possible anymore? then I really don't know if it's a good idea to have the studies on the website. I would prefer to look for another solution if not as I'm certainly not with my limited work force (read: me) going to make additional 3.636 pages on the website. Been working on it for 4 - 5 years now and I need it to be stable in future.

Indeed we could work on a full study embed feature, that has a chapter selector.

Thanks. That will solve the case and make my website work not only with chess openings but also with the embeded end games, which too have more chapters in a study.

Please let me know when the feature is available. I will 'park' the website in the meantime and let my visitors know the feature is under development with you, so they can study chess openings and end games soon again.

I was still thinking you would make the option to have a full study on one page. In fact it's only possible now to embed a single chapter. None other pages like import games, study all variances for an opening on one page is possible. Consequence I have to make 3.636 New Pages and change integrations with Lichess around on the entire website to study chapter for each of the chess openings, end game study etc., which is to much work for one person.

Lichess.org was a good place for chess people. However I see no reason to integrate with Lichess.org now as it's not possible to learn a full study like: Queen's Pawn Game - Study and Play Variants for Eco Code A41 https://www.cleanchess.com/queens-pawn-game-study-play-variants-eco-code-a41.html on Lichess.org https://lichess.org/study/AdTh2x6z with 11 chapters.

Just confirm if that's the case and it's what you want? And I will make all the 3.636 chess openings available to study on Lichess.org private due to copyright protection and remove anything that have to do with Lichess.org on https://www.cleanchess.com

Okay now. I can see you got some thumbs up. For what I don't know besides your solution. However what frustrates me is that it does not work as it did a few days ago. Nothing from lichess.org works.

With my comment 'Waste of time' is 2 years spend on integrating lichess.org on the website and besides this I send a lot of links (please look later) to your website, which means you get a lot of supporters (money) to your website. So you might take it easy and I don't know what the 2 thumbs up is for. I think I do lichess a favor too by sending a lot of 'visitors/supporters' to your website and Mobile APP through the embeds and links to lichess. It's mutual interests.

Maybe I don't get it? 2 - 3 days ago everything was working fine. Today nothing works on the website. That is very bad for the visitors / users on the website. Believe that.

The last bit and the chapter selector is excellent. No option to continue to play the opening was wished. It was possible before.

Your on going changes in programming and design just make it very difficult to keep up with as every embed from lichess have to be changed on each page manually. I just been running a link scan on the website www.cleanchess.com and there is 5.845 links to and from lichess in 5.708 posts. Just to give you an idea that it is complicated to correct manually. I will have to do that because the embeds a few days ago does work for some reason. Security or?

So what I'm saying is that I have, as the website owner and developer of cleanchess, to make a strategy that will keep my visitors happy. They are not happy when the links and embeds with lichess doesn't work or is broken.

that looks fine to me. Clicking on the bottom-right button will open the chapter in a new tab, where all remaining lichess features are available.
