Jetpack: Simple Payments Blocks: labels and placeholders are not visible when using dark theme

Steps to reproduce

  1. Starting at URL: https://kokebiztest.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php
  2. Insert a new Simple Payments block

What I expected

Some description of what each field is

What happened instead

I saw several fields with no description.

Not sure what's relevant, but tested on WordPress.com with a business plan, the "Sophisticated Business" theme, and language set to Spanish (Spain)

FYI, the easiest way to test dark mode is with https://github.com/WordPress/gutenberg-starter-theme

@koke am I correct in understanding that it seems like something to be fixed upstream in Gutenberg itself?

It looks like there might be an issue with a core component that's not specific to jetpack, but I haven't debugged it enough to know for sure.
