Hey, there is a workaround for this issue. You can just download an old version of Franz from Github, see: https://github.com/meetfranz/franz/releases, find release 5.4.1, and there you can download the install package you need. After doing that, you can log in with Google normally, and then install again the 5.5.0 version and everything should work just ok.

Same for me with the version 5.5.0 (5.5.0.1762). Any update on this?

I installed 5.4.1, logged in and then reinstalled 5.5.0 as suggested above...

Today I got signed out and had to relogin.

Any word on when we can expect a patch or 5.5.1 to fix this issue?

Same issue on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS | Franz version 5.5.0 -> after logout from slack can't relogin with 'Sign in with Google'

I'm having this issue as well. Slack version -> 5.4.0
