Franz: Whatsapp unread messages badge not showing

The unread badge of Whatsapp doesn't show in the Dock icon in MacOS High Sierra. This only happens since yesterday.

Expected vs Current Behavior

Whenever I have an unread message (which shows its badge correctly in the sidebar of Franz UPDATE: it doesn't), the Dock icon should update with that unread count. This doesn't happen.

I have removed the service, unlinked WhatsApp, and then readded it, but the situation remains the same.

Your Environment

Franz Version used: 5.0.0-beta.15
Operating System and version: MacOS High Sierra 10.13.2

because of a whatsapp update (obfuscated class names) the unread messages selector had to be updated. this is fixed now and the hotfix will be pushed soon to all clients!

I am having this issue on Windows 10, and Linux Mint 20.

I am having this issue on macOS 10.15.7 and Ferdi 5.5.0 (5.5.0.2116). Completely uninstalled and removed all Ferdi stuff from Application Support and notifications worked again for a day, and now nothing again. I get banners (and I can see the notifications in Notification Center), but no red badge on the dock icon. Ferdi is allowed all notifications in System Preferences.
